Tourism is very important thanks to the presence of Dolomites and of wonderful valleys (Val di Sole, Val di Non and Val Gardena) that are really loved by skiers. Tourists arrive in summer and winter.

Hydroelectrical stations are very important for local economy; there is a remarkable production of energy.

Floriculture is very well developed; many young people are reunited in cooperatives and practise it. Viticulture is a good resource, too and local wines are really tasteful.

The most developed factories are the ones dedicated to woodworking, then there mechanical and metallurgical industries. Factories are not very big but they are homogeneously distributed on the territory.

A typical product is the porphyry, extracted and processed in Valle di Cembra. It is shipped all over the world.
