The main activity is commerce, handicraft and tourism thanks to the wonderful sea (Blue Flag in 1995, 1997 and from 2000 to 2005) and its artistic and cultural heritage.

The territory is rich of olive trees: olive oil, Olio del Cilento doc (Denomination of controlled origin) is very good: its colour is between green and yellow, the smell and the flavour are fruity.

Blue fish fishing is very important, too.
