Faro: the lighthouse was built in 1870, but it started to operate only 15 years later. It is on a rock, at more than 110 m above the sea level. A legend tells that in the past there was an oracle (the prophetess Manto). Sailors used to consult her when they had to sail, because she was able to predict or to avoid the anger of Scilla and Cariddi (the streams of the strait). The oracle was in a cave under a rock called Mantineo (the Greek Manteuo). This word means "to communicate with the divine will". The white tower has the shape of a cylinder. It is 8 m tall.

Baia di Grotticelle: in this bay there is a wonderful cave, inside the cave there is a very nice beach that can be seen only when there is low tide.

Baia di Santa Maria: on this bay there is a well-known fishermen’s village.

Spiaggetta Praja di Fuoco: a charming creek with crystal-clear water.

Chiesa di S. Maria Lauretana: this church was built in XVI century but the current structure was made at the beginning of XIX century. On Easter Monday inhabitants of Ricadi and of surrounding villages go to this church as a tradition.

Torri di guardia: these towers were ordered in XVI century by Don Pedro di Toledo, viceroy of Naples. Today there are three towers in Ricadi territory: Torre Marrana, Torre Ruffa and Torre Balì. In the past there were five towers: Torre Marrana, Torre S. Maria, Torre Marino, Torre Ruffa and Torre Balì in S. Domenica di Ricadi where the commander of all the towers lived. In this tower there was everything needed to give the alarm when necessary.

Formicoli: Forum Herculis, the place where Hercules, coming back from Spain, found big pastures. Here a Byzantine necropolis was discovered.

Lampazzone: here there is a still operating water mill, built in 1700.

Museo d’Arte Contadina: this museum dedicated to farm life contains around 500 finds that tell the story of farm life: tools, utensils used to work the linen and broom fibres, pots.
