  • Palazzo Bonifacio: this palace was probably built in XVII century; the outer walls have a few openings, this is why the palace seems like a little fortress with an inner courtyard.

  • Torre Guevara: this tower is made of three floors and an underground part; it is 20 m tall. Around the tower there is a wooded boulevard. The earthquake of 1980 destroyed this building that had to be restored. Now in the tower there is an art gallery.

  • Chiesa di Santa Lucia: this church is dedicated to Saint Lucy. The portal is made of calcareous stone and has got a very simple frame. The arch is round and it contains a small statue portraying Saint Lucy, carved by local artist Michele Busciolano in 1881. Inside the church there is only a nave having an only altar.

  • Parco di Montereale: this park has a wonderful panoramic position; it is positioned at 800 m above the sea level. Inside the park there are many sports facilities and this is why the park is used for Sunday trips and several events. Around the park, streets have the names of flowers and fruits.

  • Cappella di Maria SS. Annunziata di Loreto: this little church is really loved because of the popular worship of Our Lady of Loreto. The painting portraying the Annunciation is really interesting; it was painted by a local painter, Buonadonna, in 1824.

Inside there is the precious relic of Christ’s blood, brought from Palestine by Ruggero di Sanseverino, viceroy of Charles of Anjou. The façade has a small portico with thin columns. The door is made of wood and was carved at the beginning of XVI century with flowers put in geometric shapes. In the church there are interesting works of art, for example the painting portraying Our Lady of Graces with Saint Francis of Assisi and Saint Patrick.

In the cathedral there is a Roman sarcophagus in which in 1644 the remains of Saint Gerard were buried, as ordered by the bishop, Michele De Torres. The shape of the building is that of a Latin cross, with an only nave.

  • Cappella del Beato Bonaventura: this chapel was the house of Blessed Bonaventura, transformed into a chapel at the beginning of 1900. The chapel is divided in two parts by an arch supported by square columns. The façade has a very elegant calcareous stone portal. Inside, on the right wall there is a painting by Prayer, painted in 1949: it portrays the Last Supper. There is only an altar, made of red marble in Baroque style. Over the altar there is an interesting painting by the local painter Vincenzo Busciolano in 1907. It portrays the Blessed Bonaventura in ecstasy in front of altar with a tabernacle.

  • Chiesa della Santissima Trinità: this church, dedicated to the Trinity, has only a nave with side chapels. The northern part has big windows that allow the lightening of the building. The false ceiling is made of caissons with golden decorations.

The façade is made of decorated stone, like many others Franciscan buildings in the area. The church has a calcareous stone portal, of Gothic style, made in 1499: the panels are made of wood and are decorated with animals and strange human beings, representing the first Christian symbols. They are the representation of the virtues: prudence, strength, etc. Over the main altar there is a XIII century painting portraying the "Madonna del Terremoto", that is Our Lady of Earthquake, considered the protectress of the town against earthquakes.

  • Chiesa di San Michele Arcangelo: this church was maybe founded long before 1178. The church was built in Romanic style and maybe the builder was Master Barolo di Muro Lucano.
