The main resource is agriculture but tourism has been developing for the last years, especially in Agnone Cilento, a coloured and beautiful hamlet.

On the seaside there are the palaces of the most important families of Montecorice: each house has its own tower. During the summer there are many visitors in this part of the town: they give new life to a place really silent during the winter. A new tourist port was built and it has given a new aspect to the coast, less wild than before.
