Clay working is very well developed in Camerota, it is used to make pots, and pans. The most typical objects are called rancelle, mummuli, quartucce.

The most beautiful resource of Camerota is the sea: a few km far from Camerota there is Marina, with wonderful sandy beaches. The most charming place is Punta degli Infreschi, one of the most uncontaminated places of Italy. In fact the fame of Camerota is linked to its hamlet Marina di Camerota, really adored by tourists. There are nice and comfortable hotels, bed& breakfasts, and campings.
