• Motor Show: an international event dedicated to cars and to motorbikes, in a pleasant environment. This event allows visitors to enjoy all the newest models.

• Piazzola: this market is the historical market of Bologna. On Fridays and Saturdays (from 6.30 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.) more than 30,000 citizens meet and visit the 400 stands. Inside the market almost everything is sold. It has an underground car park for the clients that can contain around one thousand cars.

• Fiera del Libro per Ragazzi: this fair is the most important international one dedicated to books and multimedia products for children. Many publishing houses, writers, illustrators, translators, business developers, licensors and licensees, packagers, distributors, teachers, etc.

• Processione della B. Vergine di S. Luca: this procession founded in 1433 brings Our Lady with the Holy Child to the Metropolitan Cathedral during the week of the Ascension. The procession goes to Porta Saragozza, where there is the solemn blessing.

• Bologna Jazz Festival: this very interesting music event is dedicated to world jazz music. In 1938 a group of young jazz lovers met in the shop of Borsari, they were anxiously waiting for the arrival of new jazz discs. Since then Bologna gave hospitality to many events dedicated to jazz music, thus becoming very important for artists and music-lovers. The programme of the festival is very rich and contains the performances of the best musicians.

• Fiera di S. Lucia: this fair takes place during Christmas time. The stands are put under the portico of Chiesa dei Servi. Visitors buy Christmas presents, decorations, handmade products, toys, and traditional cakes and biscuits.

• Felsinarie: this event aims to promote the cultural, historical, artistic and commercial value of the city. It is dedicated to the whole history of the city.

• Zecchino d’Oro: this international music event is dedicated to songs for children. It aims to promote the diffusion of songs for children, songs that have to be modern, nice and instructive, they should promote ethic, civic and social values. It has been a very important event since 1961. It takes place at Teatro Antoniano.
